Millionaire on GSN Question...
« on: October 13, 2003, 12:50:09 PM »
I'm still trying to figure this out.  Why are they airing the extra half hour of Millionaire this Wed and Thurs?

Thanks!
Adam

Because when the show first premiered in August & November, 1999 they produced some half-hour episodes. Originally, not all of the episodes were an hour long.

They've definitely picked up Carpenter's Million dollar win episode(which was a 30 minute episode). Me thinks we'll see that Wed or Thu.

Yes, next week. It will not be on this week though. John did not win until around night # 8 or 9. I do not know the exact time. Unless GSN airs the shows out of order. Coming up this week is the John Lamantia/Mike Feinberg episodes which are a half hour long also. They aired before Carpenter.

It looks as if GSN doesn't have the August 1999 run of the show, as they started with the first November 1999 episode last night.

The reason for the half-hour episodes is because there were two or three half-hours in the November run.  Once it came back in January 2000, I think all but maybe one episode was hour-long.
